been offered kurt warner and desean jackson for eli manning and anquan boldin.

quite tempted by it partly because the giants have quite a hard schedule over the next month or so and eli has a nagging injury.

jackson looked elite before his no-show last week.

warner and boldin's fortunes are obviously very closely connected, but LJ is clearly still the #1 guy in zona and breaston seems to be being targeted a lot as well.

any thoughts on whether or not to make this trade much appreciated!

With Warner he is out of his bye and you could plug him in every week. (Pick up Lienart as your backup). Desean is feast or famine the Eagles will spread the ball around to everyone, but when he has a big week it might just win you your week. Eli has been really good this year thus far but with some harder games coming up I think they go more to the ground game and Eli goes back to normal Eli. Boldin is a solid WR.

I see this trade more as Warner and Jackson for Boldin.

Eli is a non factor in Fantasy Football and has been lucky thus far.

I disagree with the idea that Eli Manning is a non-factor in fantasy football. He has put up a higher weekly average than both Tom Brady and Tony Romo this year as well as Kurt Warner. The only concern that I have with Eli is playing those late-season games at Giants Stadium which also coincides with the fantasy playoffs. Warner actually has great matchups down the stretch at Detroit in Week 15 and vs. St. Louis in Week 16. Since these are great matchups for him, they are also great for Boldin. I see Boldin as being much more valuable than DeSean Jackson. If you are going to make the trade, I would look to give up less than Boldin or get more than Jackson because right now Warner and Manning are pretty much the same with Manning having better matchups over the next few weeks than Warner does. Warner also may get killed if they don't develop a running game in the next few weeks. They had a 21-0 lead at halftime last week and they did nothing offensively in the second half and almost lost the game. Good luck with your move, but try to get more than Jackson or give up less than Boldin.

Thanks for the input guys. I just can't help feeling that a big part of eli's great stats are down to the fact that the giants have played the chiefs, the bucs and the raiders. he seems to often start seasons well and then fade away as the season goes on and the weather gets worse. finding it a tough decision to make! thanks again.
